"Jamaica One Love Festival" in Tokyo

They do this in may for the last few years. The irony is there is not a single Jamaican performer or business listed on the web site. 100% Japanese performance and profit.

Not like there are no Jamaicans here either...

I enjoyed the soundsystem tucked away from the main stage, but the best vibes were at the tent run by the Jamaican Embassy. Not sure who the vocalists were, a couple looked like embassy staff, but they were having fun and the impromptu dancing was great. One love!

Tell me about it man!! I am so happy that someone has noticed that they (the one love festival organisers) do not involve Jamaicans living in Japan to be a part of the festival at all levels. Its very sad because they make so much money off our culture and they have never invited any jamaicans to do something. There are so many talented Jamaicans here and I go every year. For me I enjoy seeing the people having a good time. Soon enough the Jamaican body will need to stand together and demand that they respect the culture and the Jamaicans living here. One love
